A leading manufacturer of high-end skincare and OTC products is seeking a Senior Chemist to join their team as they create innovative products for the marketplace. Long known for their innovative active ingredients this opportunity will draw upon your specialized skill and knowledge in the areas of skincare formulation as it relates to the dermatology and spa/salon fields.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new and current formulations
• Supervise junior chemists
• Troubleshoot as needed as laboratory lead
• Project management of individual projects/li>
• Research to bring new technologies and ingredients to market
• Conference podium presentations

Experience/Skills:

• PhD in Pharmacy, Chemistry or Biology; Pharmacist preferred
• 7+ years experience in dermatology related research or industry experience
• 3+ years supervisory experience
• Demonstrated experience with skin care formulations
• Understanding of marketing of topicals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
