Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interface with customers and internal team members to develop packaging that addresses the concerns of the client and consumer
- Develop specifications for new packaging requirements
- Transfer technical requirements to R&D
- Assist R&D and Quality with client interactions
- Design new packaging for improved value and performance
- Travel nationally and internationally up to 20% of time
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Package Engineering, Packaging Science, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- 2-5 years of Package Engineering experience in Cosmetics, Color Makeup and Skincare or closely related industry (i.e., Medical Device, Automotive, or CPG packaging)
- Technical packaging development skills of primary packaging components
- Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment
- 3D CAD/CAM software (such as SolidWorks) desired but not required
- Able to be based in Los Angeles, CA and in the office a minimum of 3 days a week
