We are seeking to find a star sales professional focused on the hotel spa segment of the skincare market for a client firm needing to add a Manager of National Sales. For this expansion role, they are seeking 10+ years of experience selling skincare to the professional skincare channel.

Since 1995 this company has successfully competed for the premium skincare retail space primarily in the hotel spa industry (including overseas). As they expand into new markets, a leader is sought to help lead the team of four sales professionals and to conduct outbound sales.

This role requires current access and knowledge of buyers of premium retail skincare with a preferred emphasis on the hotel spa channel. This position could be remote (based from a home office) with 50% travel expected to clients/prospects and corporate headquarters in the Bay Area, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for strategizing and executing sales to professional skincare retailers, particularly in the hotel spa channel
  • Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business through relationship and consultative selling
  • Manage and grow inbound sales team as well as field sales

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years retail sales experience in the professional skincare channel
  • Bachelors degree
  • Strong understanding of the spa and retail professional skincare channels
  • Approximately 30-50% travel as needed to prospects, clients and HQ
  • Outstanding organizational, time-management and follow-up skills
  • Excellent written, oral and listening skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor, teach and motivate current and future sales team members
