Due to strong and consistent growth, this well-known contract manufacturer of hair care, personal care, cosmetics, and skincare products is looking for an experienced chemist/formulator to expand their offering of quality products. This critical, new position will report to the Director of Research & Development and will be charged with developing key clients’ formulations. In this role you will also create samples, meet with customers to review and improve product offerings, and provide general formulation expertise to other staff in this area as needed as an in-house expert.

This fast growing leader (in fact, one of the fastest growing in all of Utah last year) has much recent market success and are expanding their facilities with significant factory investments. All they lack is another skilled cosmetic chemist team member skilled in this area to help accommodate the increased demand for their innovative products.

Candidates who meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • ● BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering or related field
  • ● 3-5+ years experience formulating cosmetics, personal care, hair care, skincare and/or OTC products
  • ● Strong analytical chemistry and instrumentation skills
  • ● Ability to work multiple product launches
  • ● Familiarity with product project management (from ideation to production)
  • ● Strong communication skills as this role works with customers to create solutions
  • ● Performance-driven self starter
  • ● Some supervisory experience desirable not not required
