Because of strong sales and an internal promotion, our client is seeking a Personal Care Scientist ready for a change to a Technical Marketing role that is remote (home-based). In this role you will be responsible for the creation and distribution of clear and engaging technical marketing materials. Job Duties:

  • Create collateral to support a wide range of external activities, including customer visits, technical seminars, lab sessions, and presentations at industry events
  • Communicate with distributors via letters and technical documents and manage marketing materials such as product data sheets and promotional documents
  • Develop personal care presentations in preparation of relevant conferences, exhibitions, and customer workshops that includes brochures, social media, technical documents, and other creative tools
  • Collaborate with the laboratory team to guide the development and launch of marketing formulation prototypes and prototype kits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science-based field, preferably Chemistry, Engineering, or Biology
  • 2-5+ years of laboratory/technical experience in the Personal Care industry (Skincare, Cosmetics, Hair Care, or OTC) which could include formulation, product development, or regulatory/quality work
  • Strong communication skills, both in person and written
  • Ability to work independently (from a home office) and with others on sales support visits
  • Able to work from the company headquarters in New Jersey 2 days a month or as needed
